OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT

Second Lieutenant Jonathan A. Allamani distinguished himself by outstanding achievement as Executive Officer, 602d Training Group (Provisional), Headquarters Second Air Force, Keesler Air Force Base, Mississippi. On this date, Lieutenant Allamani rendered immediate life-saving aid to the 602d Training Group (Provisional) Director of Operations after an accidental shooting incident. His quick action was crucial in providing life-sustaining medical assistance to the critically injured officer, keeping him stable until emergency medical services arrived. Lieutenant Allamani’s immediate response to the medical emergency was crucial to the officer’s survival until other medical assistance took over the task. Lt Allamani took command of the situation demonstrating leadership and resourcefulness at a pivotal moment preventing a tragic loss of life. Emergency medical technicians, attending paramedics, and numerous physicians at the servicing hospital give Lieutenant Allamani’s selfless actions full credit for the officer’s survival. Lieutenant Allamani’s immediate, skillful actions saved not only his fellow airman’s life, but also saved a limb. The distinctive accomplishment of Lieutenant Allamani reflects credit upon himself and the United States Air Force.
