My morning run

Sphere: Related Content

I had a great run this morning. I was literally awash in emotions though because I can't get Sean Taylor (Washington Redskin who was murdered) out of my head. I frankly had never heard of him, but his injuries which led to his death were similar to mine almost a year ago. My leg was nearly amputated and I really thank God for allowing me to keep it and to allow me to be able to actually run again.

I remember the thoughts rushing through my head as I hit the ground after bullet entered my leg - thoughts about my sons losing their father. I am so sorry Mr. Taylor's child will never get to know him. It brought tears to my eyes this morning as I was running, but I know that the Lord allowed me to live for at least two reasons: Chay and Cole. And probably more like my family and friends.

We are all thankful you are still here. It really is ashame people do not value life just a bit more. If we jusy relised behind every action has a consequence.

Love you,
